The focus was to develop a handle that embodied the brand’s legacy while introducing new functionality and a more contemporary, ergonomic grip.
Liquid Metal became the central aesthetic inspiration, reflecting the brand’s commitment to polished metal, precision craftsmanship, and enduring design. The project began with a broad exploration of handle forms, styles, and approaches before being refined into four distinct design directions. Each direction explored a different interpretation of the brand’s visual identity while helping the client understand the potential evolution and extension of its VBL.
